Unseen is a UK charity with its head office in Bristol. They provide safehouses and support in the community for survivors of trafficking and modern slavery. Over the past five years, our members have donated Christmas presents and funds for the children in their safe houses, typically 30 to 40 gifts for babies through to teenagers. We wrap and prepare each one so they’re ready to be given out and also make a donation.
Rotary’s End Polio Now campaign is one of the most remarkable humanitarian achievements of our time. Since launching the Global Polio Eradication Initiative in 1985, Rotary members have helped reduce polio cases by 99.9% worldwide, delivering vaccines to billions of children, raising over $2.1 billion, and tirelessly advocating for government and global health support.
We have supported the Meadow Vale Community Centre over the last 10 years in a variety of ways. This centre is located in a poor multiethnic area called Speedwell (East Bristol).
