Members of Bristol Rotary Club volunteer their time for a variety of environmental projects:
Litter picking – club members go litter picking in various locations around Bristol on a regular basis. It is so rewarding when local residents thank us for what we are doing.
Water sampling – in partnership with the Bristol and Avon Rivers Trust our members have been trained in river water sampling techniques, helping to monitor water pollution in urban streams.
Rivers and Natural Flood management – working with the Rivers Trust and other Rotary clubs, we are using river flow management methods to control erosion, reduce flood risk and restore natural habitats for fish and terrestrial animals, including endangered species.

PhysioNet is a UK based charity set up in 2004 which is dedicated to helping some of the most marginalised people in the world by supplying children and adults with disability equipment considered surplus or redundant. PhysioNet has made over 100 shipments to 27 countries including Ukraine, Moldova, South Africa, Syria, Zimbabwe, India, Bhutan and Mexico and has been awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.

We have supported the Meadow Vale Community Centre over the last 10 years in a variety of ways. This centre is located in a poor multiethnic area called Speedwell (East Bristol).
Your support can change lives. Whether you’re donating, volunteering, or partnering with us, every action counts.
